Winners will join Tourism Australia and Samsung’s photography experts on one of two visually-stunning, all-expense paid itineraries for five days from 24 – 30 June 2014.

Professional photographers and enthusiasts alike will have the chance to capture breath-taking landscapes and cityscapes in two of Australia’s most renowned cities – Melbourne and Sydney.

From Sydney Harbour to Great Ocean Road, the journey promises to be one that will offer unparalleled experiences in photography.

“This is an extraordinary opportunity for photography enthusiasts to discover and capture the essence of Australia’s sights and landscapes through Samsung’s superior NX cameras and lenses,” said Irene Ng, Vice President of Marketing, Samsung Asia Pte Ltd. “With this second edition of our NX Traveller programme, we are excited to continue to bring together Southeast Asia’s most promising photographers and Samsung camera lovers with local experts from Down Under. Together, they can exchange and share knowledge and ideas while capturing the sprawling beauty of Australian cities and beyond.”

During the journey, participants will be provided with Samsung’s latest NX30 camera to experience first-hand the camera’s professional features. This includes the advanced 20.3MP APS-C CMOS sensor that ensures brilliant images even in low lit situations, the next-generation hybrid autofocus system that provides accurate focusing, and a 1/8000 second shutter speed enables users to capture fast-moving subjects with little to no blur. Embedded with NFC and Wi-Fi® capabilities, the NX30’s Tag & Go feature also enable users to quickly send their pictures from the camera to their smartphones or tablets by simply touching the camera to the device, making seamless sharing simple and easy. Celebrity photographers will also be onsite to provide guidance, as well as tips and tricks to help bring participants’ photography skills to the next level.

“We are thrilled to welcome Southeast Asia’s photographers and enthusiasts to discover why There’s Nothing Like Australia together with Samsung,” said Karyn Kent, Regional General Manager Southeast Asia and The Gulf, Tourism Australia. “The opportunities for photography in Australia are as diverse and exciting as the country itself.
