Following the survey findings reported last month on the video consumption habits and device preferences of Malaysian consumersVucliphas released an infographic capturing key insights from the report.

To recap, key findings of the survey include:

  • Malaysian consumers consider Latest/freshest videos and a smooth viewing experience as must-haves in an OTT player
  • Half of all respondents watch videos on their laptops/PCs and smartphones daily
  • Almost eight in 10 respondents download videos, with free videos preferred over torrents and paid videos
  • Key concerns for smartphone video viewing include slow download speeds, high data consumption and battery drainage
