Industry first roadshow for converged AV and IT industry
ICTech 2016 Launched
For IT professionals, the convergence of AV and IT has brought on a critical need to upskill to ensure competency in a fast paced industry. To address this, the inaugural ICTech Roadshow has been launched, offering an exhibition and education program centered on delivering production skills, hardware knowledge and technical training to IT professionals who are keen to get ahead of the game.
The Roadshow will visit Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth in October 2016, addressing major educational gaps across the converged AV and ICT fields via a comprehensive seminar program. Hands-on product training direct from suppliers and issues-based seminars from leading industry practitioners, will lift proficiency levels of IT professionals and encourage creativity through the use of new technologies.
Jason Allen, Show Director, ICTech Roadshow, has delivered hundreds of hours of technical training and presented a sold-out ICT seminar program as part of CX Roadshow 2015. He says the event’s aims are to deliver a national, accessible, affordable and educational trade event that provides unsurpassed value for both exhibitors and attendees.
“ICTech is breaking new ground for the IT and trade show industries. We’re giving exhibitors the opportunity to meet with industry professionals from every major market in Australia – a shortcoming that many single-location expos fail to address.
“By bringing the event to the delegates’ hometowns nationally, we’re addressing the issues of attendee travel, accommodation and costs to businesses, and exhibitors are jumping at the chance to be involved,” said Mr Allen.
Industry leading manufacturers and distributors including Extron, avt (formerly AMX Australia) and Lightware are confirmed as exhibitors for the inaugural Roadshow.
