Latest additions to Canon’s imageCLASS colour printer series delivers impressive and vibrant high quality prints for office use
The A3 Colour Laser Printers, imageCLASS LBP843Cx and LBP841Cdn, enables larger print runs with its exceptional print speed, large device memory and media versatility.
SINGAPORE, 20 JULY 2016– Canon today announced the launch of the imageCLASS LBP843Cx and LBP841Cdn, two highly versatile and speedy A3 Colour Laser Printers designed to support high-volume colour printing in corporate offices, education institutions and agencies with in-house publishing.
“In today’s fast-paced work environment, Canon is motivated to deliver products that meet our customers’ demanding number of print jobs and low operating cost needs to further enhance workplace productivity,” said Edwin Teoh, Head of Marketing, Singapore Operations, Canon Singapore. “Through the improved print technology in the latest imageCLASS A3 colour laser printers, businesses can maximise efficiencies with immaculate print speeds, media versatility and high-yield cartridges.”
Maximising business performance with increased efficiencies
Equipped with Canon’s proprietary On-Demand Fixing technology, the imageCLASS LBP843Cx and LBP841Cdn deliver outstanding print speeds at 31 and 26 pages per minute for A4-sized documents respectively in both monochrome and colour, with a first print-out expected in a mere 7.9 seconds for monochrome prints and 9.9 second for colour prints.
Designed with versatility in mind, the imageCLASS LBP843Cx and LBP841Cdn support printing on a variety of paper media, from plain, heavy to coated papers in various sizes ranging from A3 to A5. Users can expand the paper capacity up to a maximum of 2,000 sheets with optional paper feeders to meet demanding print jobs and reduce time spent on frequent paper replacements.
For maximum cost efficiency, optional high-yield toner cartridges can be utilised to lower running costs. With yields of 13,000 pages for the black cartridge and 16,500 pages for the colour cartridges, users can achieve a lower cost-per-print and longer period of continuous printing with minimum interruptions.
Coupled with a large device memory of 1 GB on the imageCLASS LBP843Cx and 512 MB on imageCLASS LBP841Cdn, users can be assured that large volume print jobs will be carried out without any compromise in performance.
Managing print environments with ease
The imageCLASS LBP843Cx caters for businesses that require advanced fleet management. Department ID enables the restriction of user access and functions, while Secure Print allows confidential printing with a unique username and PIN. Aimed at businesses pursuing greater efficiencies through a managed print environment, the imageCLASS LBP843Cx can be integrated with existing uniFLOW print management solutions to gain benefits such as Cost Tracking and Print Anywhere.
Both laser printers come with the industry standard PCL print language which allows easy integration with business applications. The Remote UI feature provides convenient device management by allowing users to conveniently monitor the status of print jobs, specify various device settings and more at their desks.
With enhanced connectivity on Gigabit Ethernet, the imageCLASS LBP843Cx and LBP841Cdn comes with 10Base-T/100Base-TX/1000Base-T as standard, allowing users to share the printer on the network and minimise data transfer times for large print jobs.
Embracing sustainability with lower power consumption
With Canon’s commitment to develop energy efficient products, the imageCLASS LBP843Cx and LBP841Cdn are class-leading in power consumption, utilising only 3W in sleep mode. The default duplex printing available for a variety of sizes supports a greener work environment by printing on both sides, minimising cost and wastage. Both imageCLASS LBP843Cx and LBP841Cdn would meet the printing needs of businesses that have to churn out various document sizes in industries such as healthcare.
