The new GFX 50S features premium design and excellent operability stemming from the combination of the reputable X Series system and the accumulation of image design technology from over 80 years of experience. The GFX 50S achieves the highest ever image quality from FUJIFILM and marks a milestone for the company.

These lenses inherit the design philosophy of the FUJINON series which are highly regarded and trusted by photographers the world over.
The GFX 50S features a 43.8x32.9mm CMOS medium format sensor: a product of Fujifilm's rich history, cutting-edge digital technology and extensive knowledge of medium format film cameras.
“FUJIFILM has accumulated a wealth of expertise over the many years of developing photographic film, lenses, and our X Series cameras. The GFX 50S is a reflection not only of our knowledge and experience, but also our dedication to perfection and we are pleased to launch this in Singapore,” said Favian Loo, Divisional Marketing Manager, Singapore Sales – Electronic Imaging.
The X Series system has earned high praise from professional photographers and photography enthusiasts alike, due to its excellent image quality and versatility across a wide range of genres including landscape, portrait and sports photos. There has also been a huge demand by professional photographers around the world for a camera that could incorporate high image resolution, the flexibility to be used commercially such as for studio portraits, while maintaining excellent color reproduction. In response, FUJIFILM has developed the GFX 50S and the FUJINON GF Lenses series, boasting improved functionality and even higher image quality. The GFX 50S and FUJINON GF Lenses pair up perfectly to create a system capable of capturing the world's highest level of photographic expressions.
Both the shape of the light-gathering micro-lenses and the processing from the photodiodes have been optimized to achieve a high level of sharpness and broad dynamic range. The lowest native ISO sensitivity of 100 and the 14-stop dynamic range, achieved with 14-bit RAW data, delivers high definition images in a variety of conditions with notably rich skin tones and intricate foliage detail.
“The GFX 50S delivers superior tones and sharpness that will impress professional photographers and enthusiasts alike. Whether shooting for commercial purposes, fashion or capturing beautiful landscapes, the GFX 50S produces the highest quality images,” added Mr Favian Loo.

The FUJIFILM GFX 50S sports the X-Processor Pro image processing engine, capable of drawing the very best out of the 51.4 megapixel sensor. Its advanced processing accelerates and optimizes the camera's performance in a variety of areas including stunning color reproduction with FUJIFILM's unique Film Simulation modes, in-camera RAW conversion to the 8-bit TIFF format, accurate contrast AF, quick startup time, and minimal shutter release time lag and shooting intervals between frames.
