Shure Demonstrates Latest Audio Solutions for AV Conferencing at CommunicAsia /EnterpriseIT 2017

Comprehensive portfolio of innovative audio and DSP technologies enhance productivity and efficiency in UC&C applications

Hong Kong / Singapore, May 23, 2017 – Shure is making its debut at this year’s CommunicAsia / EnterpriseIT show, held at the Marina Bay Sands Singapore from May 23 to 25, introducing its portfolio of innovative audio solutions to help businesses increase productivity in AV conferences while simplifying AV/IT workflows. Located at booth #5E6-02, Shure is inviting visitors to a first-hand demonstration experience of its award- winning array microphone technology and renowned wireless microphone systems, along with hands-on product modules of Shure’s latest software offering for networked system management.

In this changing business environment, companies have to be increasingly flexible and dynamic. Unified communication & collaboration tools have become indispensable for connecting people across organizations, yet audio quality – and its impact on business performance, team efficiency and even user well- being – is often overlooked. As a global leader in microphones and audio technology, Shure not only understands the importance of clear, intelligible sound for improving communication but also addresses the growing need for network integration and management in the converged AV/IT world.

“We are excited to participate at CommunicAsia and showcase our portfolio of hardware and software products for today’s AV environments,” says Mark Humrichouser, Vice President of Shure’s Asia Pacific and Americas Business Units. “From corporations, governments, educational institutes, to hospitality sectors – we understand the challenges that these users are facing today. Shure also anticipates demands of tomorrow, so we can deliver future-proof audio solutions that help our customers to enhance their business communications and increase productivity in the long-run.”

One of the highlights at Shure’s booth are the award-winning Microflex™ Advance™ Ceiling and Table Array Microphones, which are set up for live listening at a dedicated demonstration area. With an architecturally unobtrusive design, they provide nearly invisible voice capture. The integrated IntelliMix™ DSP technology ensures most intelligible meeting sound through incredibly accurate voice coverage that helps to avoid unwanted background noise. The ceiling-mounted MXA910 Array Microphone not only clears space on the meeting table but also allows users to act and speak more naturally, without having to constantly worry about speaking into the microphone. The MXA310 Table Array Microphone delivers an elegant tabletop solution that captures talkers all around a meeting table. Microflex Advance microphones simply integrate into the corporate infrastructure through a single Ethernet cable and Dante™ networking and can be easily setup and (re-) configured through a user-friendly web browser interface.

Designed for use with Microflex Advance microphones, Shure also brings its new IntelliMix P300 Audio Conferencing Processor and ANIUSB-MATRIX Interface to the show. P300 ensures echo-and noise-free conference room audio through proprietary DSP algorithms optimized for AV conferencing applications. Compact and simple to install, the Dante-enabled device offers a variety of connectivity options that allow users to collaborate via room VC systems, software-based applications on laptops, or mobile phone, while utilizing high quality microphones for voice capture.

As a more streamlined alternative for smaller meeting rooms, the ANIUSB-MATRIX Audio Network Interface provides USB-connectivity and flexible signal routing for environments where a premium microphone solution is desired, but integrated acoustic echo cancellation of an existing hardware or software AV conferencing system is used.

Users who are looking for a wireless microphone solution have the opportunity to explore the Microflex™ Wireless and ULX-D™ Digital Wireless Systems. Microflex Wireless provides a full range of microphone options for managed AV environments and scales from custom boardrooms to networked enterprises, with intelligent hardware ensuring ease of use and reliable performance. The recently expanded ULX-D Digital Wireless System, with new Gooseneck and Boundary Microphones, offers an extremely spectrum efficient alternative for environments where hundreds of microphone channels are needed. Both Microflex Wireless and ULX-D feature advanced lithium-ion rechargeability, for always on usage and long-term cost savings.

The wireless systems are compatible with Shure’s latest software solution, the SystemOn Audio Asset Management software, which enables control and management of large -scale Shure hardware installations from one central platform via laptop, tablet or smartphone. The software supports AV/IT staff in charge of enterprise -wide deployments by actively tracking important metrics such as battery level, RF/spectrum status and device status in real-time. SystemOn notifies admin/tech of potential problems before they become critical, enhancing proactive management capabilities and eliminating the need for on-site troubleshooting.

“Shure is committed to providing reimagined audio solutions that not only deliver reliable, high quality sound, but also meet the customer demands for simplicity, scalability, and networkability,” explains Andy Wan, Asia Director of Integrated Systems & Enterprise Sales at Shure. “We have brought our technical expertise from the professional audio industry to the corporate world, and are now offering innovative hardware, and increasingly software products, that enable an enhanced audio experience while simplifying workflows and user interaction. Our solutions are forward-looking and are becoming increasingly intelligent, which allows us to support the changing needs of organizations as they go through the digital transformation.”

Aside from the hands-on product demonstrations at the Shure booth, Rob Klegon, from Shure’s Global Product Management, will also host two presentations at the CommunicAsia Xperience Zone to address and discuss the impact of quality sound on business performance, as well as the challenges of integrating audio technology with meeting behavior.
