Bring Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to your vehicle with the new Pioneer Z-Series AV Receivers

Ever wanted Android Auto or Apple CarPlay in your vehicle? Pioneer has just launched four new in-car entertainment receivers that supports both OS projection standards. This means that you can easily project your smartphones' information and notifications on the vehicle's dashboard head unit, and enjoy a much safer driving experience!

There are four new models that are announced. All 4 new models will support Apple CarPlay, but Android Auto is only available on the 7 inch models. (Due to screen size requirements for a Android Auto device) These in-car A/V receivers can be connected to the car's audio and control system easily as they are in the standard DIN size format. Connection to the smartphone can also be done by a standard lighting/USB cable. Pioneer has engineered their system to easily detect and identify the type of smartphone connected, so as to make it extremely easy to set up.

Additionally, other than support for both Apple's and Android's vehicle standard support, Pioneer's own in-house AppRadio Mode software (which is compatible with both iOS and Android) also enables many other features. This software allows the standard video and audio streaming features, FM Radio, DVD playback, in-car call support and many more.

The AppRadio Mode can also stream videos YouTube and other supported video streaming platforms to the receiver's display. This was previously not available in earlier versions. The upgraded receiver also now supports NTFS file system which essentially allows users to play their large HD video files (more than 4GB) directly from their portable storage devices. Previous FAT file system only allows files of up to 4GB.

Pioneer also explained that they have improved the hardware of the system to improve responsiveness of the touch screen. Audio and video components have also been upgraded for a better media experience. They used a better display panel that supports 24bit true colour, and premium audio components for the reduction of noise and interference in audio signals.

The new Pioneer Z-Series multimedia receivers will be available in Singapore soon. More details are available at
