Unit4 hosts its annual conference “Connect” in Singapore

Singapore, 11 July 2017 - Unit4, a leading global provider of enterprise systems for service organizations, is hosting its annual customer conference “Connect” in Singapore on 13 July at One Farrer Hotel. This year’s conference, themed “The Future at Work: How digital innovation empowers people for success”, will address trending topics like the future of digital transformation, deploying innovations at work, and thriving business performances at a time of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

Keynote speakers include Stephan Sieber, Chief Executive Officer at Unit4 and Daniel-Zoe Jimenez, Research Director, IDC Asia Pacific. Two hundred attendees from public and private sectors across multiple industries are expected at the conference, including Judy Yong, Head of HR & Admin Manager of NTUC Healthcare, who will share how innovative solutions have helped enhance customer experience. Participants will also get up to date information about the latest innovations in business software.

Debut of Wanda, the world’s first true enterprise Digital Assistant, in Singapore
Unit4 will also be showcasing Wanda - the world’s first true enterprise Digital Assistant – for the first time in Singapore and Asia at the event. Wanda automates routine operations across the business and learns user preferences to become even more useful over time. This smart, modern software environment will help organisations deliver significantly improved project planning and forecasting and timely and meaningful insights during implementation.

Launch of Global Productivity Study
Unit4 will launch the Global Productivity Study at the conference which reveals that Singapore office workers are the least productive compared to the 11 countries surveyed, spending 47.5 days or the equivalent of two months on administrative and repetitive tasks. More Singapore specific findings will be shared at the event.

“This is our 3rd Unit4 Connect conference in Singapore and it has become a “must-attend” in the industry’s annual events calendar. The continued success of our conferences demonstrates that organisations in Singapore are keen to understand what digital revolution means to them and how self-driving software on the cloud will bring positive impact to their people and customers,” said Stephan Sieber, CEO of Unit4. “The showcase of Wanda is a key highlight of the event as it will represent a whole new way to leverage the full scope of this new and exciting business environment.”

About The Global Productivity Study
Unit4 commissioned DJS Research to understand the amount of time office workers spend on a range of administrative or repetitive tasks, and their views on how adopting technology could help them be more productive. The overarching research objective of this study is to gain an understanding of how much time office workers spend carrying out administrative tasks and the impact automation of these might have.
