“Our goal has always been to recreate the awesome experience of playing a complex and intricate tactics game, like the golden days of Final Fantasy Tactics. All the complexities and wonders of a rich class system with a mature story, but with a modern twist to it: High res sprites, lush hand-drawn environments, and a cleaner as well as a more streamlined user interface,” says Pierre Leclerc, Lead Developer

Press Mentions:
"Fell Seal: Arbiter’s Mark promises a twisting story filled with unique characters, much like the game’s inspirations, Final Fantasy Tactics and Tactics Ogre." - Siliconera

“Fell Seal: Arbiter’s Mark is a beautiful hand-drawn turn-based tactical RPG that sees you playing an agent of an Immortal Council, who’s tasked with preserving order in a land full of mystery and danger.” - Alpha Beta Gamer

Key Highlights:
- The game focuses on storytelling, character customization, and dangerous combat.
- Players will be able to fully customize their recruits' visuals using a wide selection of portraits, outfits, hats, hairs, skin colors, heads, accessories and more.
- The game boasts over 20 base classes and 5 secret classes, on top of various unique monsters.
- You will be able to experience more than 40 unique battle maps, each with hand-crafted designs, environments, and encounters.

In Fell Seal, battles are turn-based, with each character having their own turn. You will be facing down scores of enemies in thoughtfully-designed maps, filled with details, elevation, and treasures. How you use the map to your advantage, which characters you bring along, what strategies you adopt: All these will be instrumental in securing your victory.
Fell Seal has some fairly challenging encounters, so expect that some of your units will fall in combat. When that happens, your characters are not permanently lost, instead, they will suffer an injury, which lowers all their stats until they have recovered by resting (not participating) for some amount of battles. This approach allows players to avoid the need to reload their game to an earlier state, potentially avoiding lost progress, and enjoy the game without being restricted by fallen units. Doing so also encourages you to create more "core units" than the basic 6 that can participate in combat at any one time, which means, even more units for you to take a special interest in.
