Launching today in partnership with M1 Limited (M1), Microsoft Singapore is pleased to announce its first direct mobile billing partnership, delivering mobile payment convenience for M1 customers on both the Xbox and Microsoft storefronts. Digital store payments are now even more simple and streamlined, with new store elements enabling M1 customers to connect their mobile account to their Microsoft Store account for centralized billing convenience from February 22.

Whether your preference is racers, adventure titles puzzle games, or productivity software, this new capability enables the one-stop convenience of secure app and game purchases in Windows and Xbox Stores via a Windows 10 PC, tablet, phone or Xbox console through a postpaid M1 mobile number.

For M1 customers that prioritise play, centralized mobile billing delivers Xbox gaming fun on tap, with access to latest titles and services for both PC and console gamers including:

  • Digital purchase on ALL new titles from day of launch – Rather than wait by the mailbox or queue up at the mall, mobile billing at the Xbox Store means you can explore a broad range of new titles as soon as they launch! Join the game and play new and upcoming titles like Rare Studio’s upcoming shared-world pirate adventure Sea of Thieves (launching March 20), critical indie-hit Cuphead (out now) and more while the online buzz and chatter is hot.  – Starting today, M1 Limited (M1) customers can enjoy the one-stop convenience of charging their Microsoft Store and Xbox Store transactions directly to their monthly postpaid mobile bill. This new service will enable access and payment to a broad spectrum of apps and games, supporting both productivity and play.

M1 is the first carrier in Singapore to allow customers to securely and easily make apps and games purchases in Windows and Xbox Stores via their Windows 10 PC, tablet, phone or Xbox console using their M1 mobile number, delivering a service that can keep pace with today’s modern digital life.

Taking advantage of M1 Mobile Billing service is simple. Customers can visit the Windows Store or Xbox Store, select the content they would like to purchase, choose “Mobile Phone” as the payment
 method and enter their M1 mobile number. Once the mobile billing is selected, all future purchases made through the associated Microsoft Windows or Xbox account will be charged to their monthly account.
