Team Impunity to compete in WESG 2017 grand finals Vainglory 5V5 Showcase

Singapore — 9 March 2018 Team Impunity will be invited as Singapore’s representative to compete in the World Electronic Sports Games (WESG) 2017, hosted by Alisports, the sports branch of Alibaba in an international Vainglory 5V5 showcase stage. This showcase match will put national pride at stake, with teams representing China, Korea, Indonesia and Singapore pit against each other, and will be held in Haikou, Hainan, China. WESG 2017 Vainglory is the first cross-region esports event since the launch of Vainglory 5V5, the only “no-compromise” MOBA on mobile featuring incredible graphics with 3 million polygons and over 200 fully animated actors, rendered at up to 120FPS on all compatible devices.

Team manager Fabien Ong, said “We are extremely proud to be invited to WESG as Singapore’s representative, something that we experienced last year at the World Championships. It is also great to see Vainglory as a title picked up by yet another major esports program and shows that the game is growing. The move to 5V5 has added strategic depth to the most visually stunning mobile MOBA, and is surely a winning combination for an esports title.”

Fans looking to watch the livestream can do so at on March 17th from 4:30PM to 6:30PM GMT+8 and March 18th from 9:00AM to 10:00AM GMT+8.
