It is obvious that these motherboards are mostly still in development stage as no heatsinks was found on any of the motherboards. They should be early engineering sample.
Noticeable differences in the X79 motherboards was
1)Socket requires 2 locks to keep CPU in place, CPU was seen to be much larger that the other processors on current market
2)Quad channel memory with the 4 Dimm slots are placed 2 each at both left and right of the CPU.
3)Extreme number of SATA ports found on the motherboards
4)At least 4 PCI-E x16 slot were found in all motherboards, showing high graphics bandwidth available on the X79.
