IT SHOW 2013 is just around the corner. This is the first time the event will be held at Marina Bay Sands as Suntec City's renovation could cause problems in crowd control and movements. In this article, we've came up with a small guide to show you how to get to the event venue.

If you're not planning to buy any items which are big like televisions and desktops computers, it is highly recommended that you take the public transport. As Marina Bay Sands is a tourist location, parking charges are higher than usual. Prepare to pay at least SGD$6 if you are travelling by car as that is the minimum parking charges. Wouldn't make sense if you are looking to buy a $10 flash drive.

Anyway, here are the different modes of transport towards Marina Bay Sands

Free Shuttle Bus




The organizer has introduced a free shuttle bus service from Marina Square Shopping Mall to Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre. The service runs from 10.30am to 10.30pm on the four days and comes at a 15 minutes interval. Do take note that the service will not be available during lunch time (11.30am-2.30pm) on 7th and 8th March (Thursday and Friday).

MRT

Marina Bay Sands is directly linked to Bayfront MRT Station(CE2) exit B,C,D and E. Bayfront MRT Station lies on Circle Line extension.

You can either change to Circle Line Extension from Marina Bay via North South Line or via Promenade on Circle Line.

Bus

It is fairly convenient to travel by bus as most areas of Singapore are already covered. Here is a listing of bus routes connected to Marina Bay Sands
