Today, we saw some leaked photos of Gigabyte's Z87X-UD3H. The main thing is not about the board itself, but as of now, the box information is more valuable as it tells us of the new technologies Gigabyte has done for Z87 motherboards.
For Gigabyte, they are using the same Ultra Durable technology from before i.e. Ultra Durable 5. The whole technology consists of a few features, such as the usage of new more reliable solid state capacitors and famous IR3550M Power Stage.
Additionally, the board will come with 10x USB3.0 ports. It seems that with Haswell, USB 3.0 ports are seen as a norm.
New Motherboard : GA-Z87X-OC
The new Z87X-OC is made for those who wants to break world records. The new motherboard comes with 8 phases of power and high-quality components to ensure the highest ever performance and best ever stability. It is meant to break speed limits. Similar to previous OC boards, this new Z87 OC board also uses a Black and Orange colour scheme.
The motherboard comes with a number of on-board switches, which includes BCLK, Turbo, Gear and Power
Additionally, the board also comes with Voltage measuring points, a DEBUG LED post code. Of course, the board comes with DualBIOS as usual.
The motherboard comes with a 8+4 power phase and supports Haswell processors with its LGA 1150 socket. It will be launched on 2nd June 2013.
Gigabyte also intends to launch of whole generation of motherboards targeted at different markets. These includes GA-Z87X-UD5H, GA-Z87X-UH3H and GA-Z87X-UD3
