After the official press release for the R9 290X graphics card, local stores have announced that this card is already in stock and available for purchase. The PowerColor R9 290X 4GB GDDR5 OC(BF4 Edition) is currently sold at all major PC component stores in Singapore at Sim Lim Square. It retails at $818 Singapore dollars and comes with a BattleField 4 game coupon.
The released Radeon R9 290X from Power Color is a reference card model and is slightly overclocked from 1000MHz to 1030MHz. We will be expecting cards with customized PCB and cooling solutions soon.
The reference card requires a single 6pin and a 8pin power connection to power it up. It has 2 DVI ports, a display port and a HDMI port
