Halo Wars 2 Blitz Beta Coming January 20

Come 20 January, Halo Wars 2 will be making its final large-scale multiplayer beta – the Blitz Beta - available on both Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs.

The all-new Blitz Mode brings a new twist to RTS gameplay, combining the deck building and split-second decision making of card-based strategy play with explosive tactical combat in the Halo universe card deck, along with your faction leader, are your greatest resources as you assemble a collection of air, ground and infantry units and seek to out-think and out-maneuver your opponents on the battlefield.

The Halo Wars 2 Blitz Beta will run from 20 January till 30 January, and will take place on the map “Proving Grounds,” offering 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3 gameplay via matchmaking on both Windows 10 PC and Xbox One.

Gamers can also look forward getting their hands on the full Halo Wars 2 game when it launches on 21 February for Xbox One and Windows 10 PC. Halo Wars 2 is an Xbox Play Anywhere title, where the digital purchase of Halo Wars 2 on either Xbox One or Windows 10 PC will enable gamers to play on both platforms.
