Lenovo and Disney announced the Mirage AR Headset that allows for a smartphone to power Augmented Reality Star Wars games. Simply slot a supported smartphone, and attach the cable, and you're ready to face many foes such as the infamous Darth Maul and Kylo Ren.
A Lightsaber Controller will also be provided onsite, which you can use to wildly swing at those dreaded Trade Federation's Battle Droids. *Roger Roger* A Tracking Beacon, that helps the Mirage AR Headset to track your movements, is also included in the Jedi Challenges set.
At a reasonable price of S$379, Lenovo's Mirage AR set is by far the most unique ways that a smartphone has been put to use. Granted that the immersion is not full, the nausea that comes with VR gaming is thankfully non-existent!
For an exciting hands-on experience, do check out Lenovo's booths at CEF 2017, Suntec City Convention Center Level 3. The booth is located right next to the entrance.
