New Playstation®4 Wireless Headset Releasing on 4th April 2018

Singapore, 3rd April 2018 – Sony Interactive Entertainment Hong Kong Limited Singapore Branch (SIES) announced today a new model for the Wireless Headset will be available from 4th April 2018, at a manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) of SGD 149.

The Wireless Headset has offered users with an amazing audio experience via PlayStation®4 (PS4™) gaming with high-fidelity 7.1 virtual surround sound, and now the new model has reduced its weight by 22% compared to the previous model, allowing users to comfortably enjoy long gaming sessions. The Wireless Headset is also compatible with PlayStation®VR (PS VR) and mobile devices by using the 3.5mm audio cable included in the bundle. Furthermore, the new design makes the Wireless Headset extra comfortable to wear with PS VR.

By connecting the bundled wireless adapter to the PS4™, users will be able to use the Wireless Headset, voice chat with friends through the augmented noise-cancelling microphones and broadcast their gameplay via the PS4™ "SHARE" button.

Also, by downloading the Headset Companion App to the PS4™ system, users will be able to enjoy custom audio modes, created exclusively for PS4™ systems, by developers that are specifically tuned to enhance the audio in your favorite games.
