be quiet! has revealed a brand new class of ATX 3.0 compliant PSUs which is the Straight Power 12 series championing quiet operation and high operation efficiency.
Stamped with a nice 80 PLUS Platinum certification, PSUs produced within this family come with up to 2x 12VHPWR 600W + 4x PCIe 6+2 connectors for catering to some of the most high-end GPUs and rigs possible.
Made to withstand some of the highest power excursions without any problem, the full Bridge LLC topology crowns unmatched signal stability as one of the key selling points. Adding a single 12V rail design for care-free overclocking support plus 105°C-certified Japanese capacitors together with a 135mm Silent Wings fan, you get both the performance and audible cakes at once.
The wire-free design on the DC side runs directly through the PCB with no obstruction to the airflow so every component gets to be cooled adequately while signal interference caused by the magnetic fields is further reduced.
Full modularity aside, all sorts of circuit protection mechanisms are in place to keep your precious PC parts alive when something bad happens including overcurrent protection (OCP), overvoltage protection (OVP), undervoltage protection (UVP), short-circuit protection (SCP), overload protection (OPP), and the often overlooked but no less critical overtemperature protection (OTP).
