GIGABYTE has announced they will be introducing the X3D Turbo Mode via the new AMD AGESA 1.2.0.2a BIOS update.
Prepared before the official launch of the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, this special mode optimizes core distribution, bandwidth allocation, and hardware power balancing to push gaming performance boundaries of up to 18% gain in performance metrics. Not only that, none X3D chips can also benefit from this optimization as well.
So essentially this is just a "free FPS" update assuming you're running some of the recent AMD processors.
Additionally, X3D Turbo Mode is fully compatible with the AORUS AI SNATCH feature for maximum performance unlock. If interested, you can click here and find your motherboard model to get the BIOS update now.
