The long-awaited NVIDIA App has officially arrived, bringing together everything you need for gaming and your GPU's full range of software and features.
Following an extended beta testing phase that kicked off early this year, the app will soon appear as an option when you launch an NVIDIA GeForce Game Ready Driver executable, taking the place of the iconic GeForce Experience.
With a redesigned interface and expanded feature support, the NVIDIA App offers greater ease of use, including optimized game settings and controls for monitor options like G-SYNC, GPU performance tuning, and more—all in one application.
While this marks the end for most functions of the NVIDIA Control Panel, it's still worth keeping around for now as a few remaining settings will be transitioned to the app in future updates.
Additionally, NVIDIA has enhanced "ShadowPlay" to support AV1 video capture at up to 4K120FPS, introduced AI-driven RTX game filters for custom visual effects independent of game developers, and added a revamped customizable stats overlay. For non-gaming features, RTX Video HDR and RTX Video Super Resolution are now integrated into the app for AI-powered video processing.
