ASUS has announced that the new Cobble SSD enclosure will launch near the end of this month, offering a stylish and rugged external storage solution for unused M.2 NVMe SSDs.
Crafted from aluminum alloy and enhanced with a speckle-painting technique, the enclosure delivers a zen-inspired, natural aesthetic. Its IP55 water and dust resistance ensures durability against accidental drops and raindrops.
Beyond M.2 NVMe SSDs, the enclosure also supports SATA SSDs for those who don’t mind lower transfer speeds. It features a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2x1 interface, enabling data transfer speeds of up to 10Gbps. An integrated thermal pad helps maintain optimal temperatures for sustained performance and longevity.
Designed for convenience, the Cobble SSD enclosure features a tool-free Q-Latch mechanism and a screwless lock cover for easy disassembly. It is compatible with Windows 11, macOS, mobile devices, and gaming consoles such as the PS5 and Xbox.
