Jobspotting Uses Tech-Magic to Make a Perfect Match Between Employers and Job Seekers
Jobspotting, the personalized job recommendation engine that uses unique algorithms and technology to match companies and job seekers, now provides job seekers with inside data they couldn’t get elsewhere

Berlin, Germany – November, 2015 – Jobspotting, an employment recommendation engine that uses smart technology to find a perfect match between job seekers and employers, now provides job candidates with information unlike any other job search platform out there, such as companies’ corporate culture, past hirings, and more.
The platform offers companies the ability to claim their profiles, customize them and expand upon the data already aggregated by Jobspotting, aiding job seekers in applying for the position and employer that’s perfect for them.
The process of applying for jobs is long, arduous, and often results in job seekers settling for a job that doesn’t suit them. With Jobspotting’s company profiles, users can receive regular updates about who’s hiring, specific details about available jobs, who the companies have hired in the past, and even compare competitors. Additionally, since companies can claim and customize their profiles, job seekers receive a clear picture of the brand and culture of the company before applying. Of the 200,000 data-enriched company pages generated by Jobspotting, over 100 companies, such as Airbnb and Deloitte, have already claimed their profiles.
In addition to company profiles, Jobspotting is launching an analytics dashboard, providing companies with detailed, anonymous insights into demographic data, behaviors, skills, and interests of job seekers.
The dashboard offers transparency to the recruitment market, allowing companies to track:
  • Jobs – Monitor how the job market is changing, view how your job posts are faring, and benchmark performance to similar positions from your competitors.
  • Job candidates – Gain detailed information on people who are viewing your profile and showing interest in your vacancies, such as: their skills and interests, their geographical location, salary expectations, other companies that pique their interest, and how much experience they have.
  • Market – Monitor recruitment activities of your competitors and trending job positions, and compare which skills are in demand by location.
While many of today’s job hunt platforms are outdated and with minimal functionality, Jobspotting takes job search to a whole new level. Rather than simply providing lists of job postings based on keyword searches, Jobspotting uses its unique matching algorithm to learn and adapt to each user by utilizing behavioral analysis and user feedback. With its data-enriched company profiles and the new addition of the analytics dashboard, Jobspotting continues to streamline the job hunt by creating advanced opportunities for candidates to optimize and focus their job search.
“We know how daunting the process of finding a job can be,” said Jobspotting CEO and Co-founder Hessam Lavi. “That’s why Jobspotting is constantly striving to simplify the job hunt. With our smart matching algorithm and our new detailed company pages, job seekers can easily find the job, the employer, and the company that’s perfect for them.”
Following an investment from Hong Kong-based Horizons Ventures last April, Jobspotting launched a brand new Android app and updated its website and iOS app. The startup launched in Germany and the UK and now operates on four continents – and in four languages – following recent expansions to Mexico, Singapore, Hong Kong, Austria, South Africa and Spain.
