SINGAPORE, 21 April 2016 — Canon today announced the launch of three new optical accessories for their 4K broadcasting camera portable zoom lenses: Wide Attachment WA75HG, Fish Eye Attachment FEA60HG, and 105Close-up Lens CL-UP800HG. These three new accessories, combined with two existing optical accessories, form the HG Series.
HG Series for professional broadcasting
Canon has assembled a wide array of optical accessories for the professional broadcasting portable zoom lenses to enhance the diversity of shooting styles and visual expressions accessible on Canon’s 4K broadcast ecosystem. The Wide Attachment WA75HG provides users with an even wider view angle, while the Fish Eye Attachment FEA60HG creates a special effect similar to that achieved by a fisheye lens. The 105Close-up Lens CL-UP800HG enables users to achieve zoom shots of their subject from a shorter distance.
The existing Wide Converter W80HD and Tele-side Converter T15HD-II accessories will be rebranded as part of the HG series, bringing the number of HG Series accessories for HDTV and 4K cameras to five in total. The Wide Converter W80HD and Tele-side Converter T15HD-II will be renamed to the Wide Converter W80HG and Tele-side Converter T15HG, respectively.
Pricing and availability

The three new optical accessories will be launched in market in September 2016, to coincide with the launch of Canon’s new CJ20eX7.8B 4K portable zoom lens (late June 2016). Pricing will be advised at a later date.
