AEB and B-EN-G bring software solutions for supply chain management to Japanese manufacturers in Southeast Asia

Singapore - August 17,  2016
Japanese manufacturers in Southeast Asia looking to optimize their supply chains can now rely on the expertise and solutions of German software provider AEB and Japanese IT consultancy & solution provider Toyo Business Engineering (B-EN-G).

The collaboration is a result of growing demands affecting the daily operations of manufacturing businesses, i.e. cost pressure, customer satisfaction and compliance with government regulations. Software solutions are a cost-efficient way for manufacturers to scale their production while meeting more complex requirements from various stakeholders.

AEB and B-EN-G offer businesses in ASEAN a leading software solution designed to manage supply chains and international trade: ASSIST4. The comprehensive software suite, which integrates seamlessly with existing ERP systems, offers functionality to control cost, achieve better visibility, and manage the import and export of goods.

ASSIST4 was developed in Germany and is the result of more than 37 years of expertise in supply chain and global trade.  More than 5,000 customers worldwide are already using the software to standardize and automate their operations. The software has received multiple awards and important certifications.

Frans Kok, GM of AEB Asia Pacific comments: “We are keen to have a conversation with manufacturers about their operations in order to identify potential bottlenecks that might keep them from expanding. Together with B-EN-G our mission is to eliminate inefficiency and enable businesses to grow.”

In early June, both companies joined forces in organizing a roadshow attended by logistics and supply chain heads from various manufacturing companies. Participants were informed of tools and methods available to optimize their supply chains as well as new technologies with severe impact on supply chains in all parts of the world.

Ken Kitai, Senior Executive Officer, Global Business Promotion Division of Toyo Business Engineering Corporation, about the collaboration: “We strive to offer a wide range of solutions to meet the various needs in the manufacturing industry. AEB’s solutions for end-to-end logistics and global trade are the perfect addition to B-EN-G’s existing portfolio of software solutions for global manufacturing execution and operational excellence .

The collaboration is promoted by the Singapore subsidiaries of both companies: AEB Asia Pacific and Toyo Business Engineering Singapore. Manufacturers in Singapore and Thailand are the first markets to benefit from the active approach that the companies are taking in Southeast Asia.  Singapore, the regional no. 1 logistics hub, often serves as a base for manufacturers who want to centrally manage their supply chains across multiple countries in Asia. Thailand forms the heart of Japanese non-domestic production industry since the beginning of FDI flowing into Asia.

ASSIST4 suite is now available for all manufactures in Southeast Asia. Contact B-EN-G or AEB Asia Pacific directly to find out how software solutions can optimize your supply chain. Alternatively, you may visit for more information.
