Singapore – September 23, 2014 – Samsung
Electronics Singapore introduces its new Curved TV-matching Curved Soundbar,
the HW-H7501 that is designed to work in conjunction with Samsung’s Curved UHD
TVs. The Samsung Curved Soundbar was recently unveiled at IFA 2014 in Berlin as
the latest offering to deliver powerful sound options to better meet consumers’
acoustic needs.
“We
are ushering in a new era of home entertainment driven by the curve, a simple
yet powerful design ethos that greatly enhances the overall sensory
experience,” said Albinus Saw, Director, TV & AV, Samsung Electronics Singapore.
“As the market leader in curved technology, Samsung strives to create the most
complete home entertainment experience – whether it’s watching the latest UHD
content on our Curved UHD TVs or immersing yourself in incredible surround
sound brought to life by premium audio system.”
Completing
the Samsung’s ‘Total Curved Solution’ together with the Curved UHD TVs,
Samsung’s HW-H7501 Curved Soundbar is an evolution of premium design, crafted
with a finely brushed aluminium finish that fully matches and compliments the
aesthetic design of the 55 and 65 inch Samsung Curved UHD TVs.
The
Samsung Curved Soundbar is perfect for wall-mounting as it can be easily installed
under the TV without the need to drill separate holes into the wall. It has a
slim width of 42mm and the same curvature radius of 4,200mm as the Samsung
Curved UHD TVs. It delivers a greater sense of curve by surrounding the viewer
and providing a truly powerful listening experience.
In
addition to its design, the Samsung Curved Soundbar also delivers immersive
sound and user-friendly functions. Featuring 8.1 channel support, it adds two
speaker units on both sides, delivering sound from three directions which
result in more spatial and incredible surround sound.
Samsung’s
proprietary technology also provides more detailed sound, with amped up mid-
and low-range capabilities for improved fidelity and minimised sound
distortion. Users can control certain of these features such as the volume through
Samsung TV* remote controls by connecting the Soundbar to the Samsung TV
wirelessly via “TV SoundConnect” application.
The
Samsung Curved Soundbar HW-H7501 is available from 22 September 2014 at $999 at
all major consumer electronics stores.
