Singapore (9th April, 2015) — Following the launch of the Transformer Book T300 Chi, ASUS announced the availability of the compact and slim 10.1-inch Transformer Book T100 Chi. The tablet measures a mere 7.2mm and just 12.7mm when docked, designed for mobile productivity on-the-go. It is fast but silent, featuring a fanless design with battery life up to 11 hours3 for amazing mobile performance effortlessly anytime, anywhere. The Transformer Book Chi Series is available in two models - 12.5-inch Transformer Book Chi T300 Chi and the 10.1-inch Transformer Book T100 Chi. First available on 6th March was the Transformer Book T300 Chi, retailing at $1,498. The Transformer Book T100 Chi is available from 15th April onwards at $599 from all ASUS authorised dealers and resellers.

The Transformer Book T100 Chi design is engineered with more than 100 manufacturing steps to provide a gorgeous precision-crafted all-aluminium design with diamond cut highlights. It features a seamless and sophisticated design for unprecedented elegance for high performance on-the-go. Measuring just 7.2mm, the Transformer Book T100 Chi is the world’s thinnest 10.1-inch tablet.

The Transformer Book Chi’s instant and seamless transformation between handy tablet and powerful laptop is made possible by the unique magnetic hinge mechanism. It uses a powerful magnetic material known as neodymium to ensure secure, reliable and fuss-free docking. The comfortable, highly-ergonomic keyboard is connected via Bluetooth, with a working range of up to 20m.

Featuring the latest Intel® Atom™ Z3775 quad-core processor, the Transformer Book T100 Chi is capable of faster and smoother multi-tasking performance with incredible energy efficiency, and could last for up to 11 hours4 on battery power. The lightweight keyboard dock features precision-engineered keys designed for comfortable extended use, plus a multi-touch touchpad with smart gesture support. In addition, the Bluetooth keyboard can last up to 84 hours5 for incredible mobile productivity.

Just 7.2mm thin in tablet mode, the Transformer Book T100 Chi’s 10.1-inch display has a crisp Full HD 1920 x 1200 resolution. With the exclusive ASUS Truvivid Technology, the screen provides higher transparency and better colour clarity to offer brighter and sharper images.
