Wacom Singapore Introduces New Range of Products for 2017

Wacom announced its wide array of new products for the year 2017. With the slogan "Live. Dare. Create", Wacom aims to become an indispensable brand to creative personnel worldwide. The products introduced are separated into 2 main categories, Consumer and Creative. Below is a brief overview of all the products announced.

Consumer Products

Bamboo Fineline

Bamboo Fineline

Bamboo Fineline is Wacom's 3rd generation smart stylus designed for iOS touch devices. It is a premium pen for notes taking, sketching and visual communications at work or at home. Bamboo Fineline offers improved precision, palm rejection and pressure sensitivity. Its customizable shortcut button allows quick access to a wide range of functions. While not in use, the tip is retractable for protection.

The Bamboo Fineline is compatible with all iPad generations from iPad 3 onwards, including iPad Air and iPad Mini (excludes 9.7 in iPad Pro) that features Bluetooth capability and iPhone 6 and up. It is also fully integrated into leading note taking and sketching apps such as Goodnotes, ZoomNotes and Autodesk SketchBook.

Bamboo Fineline is available in 4 different colors (Black, White, Blue, Light Blue) and is priced at $89 (SGD). Bamboo Slate and Folio are Wacom's answer to the future of paper notebooks, offering a smooth and intuitive digital notetaking experience that seasmlessly bridge the gap between paper notes and digital life with smartphones, cloud services and PCs. Bamboo Slate and Folio are smartpads (Bamboo Folio features an additional integrative cover with pockets) that allow you to write naturally with pen on any paper, then with a push of a button, sync and upload them as digital files.

The smartpads works hand-in hand with Wacom's Inkspace application for uploading notes. After uploading, the notes can be further enhanced by adding strokes, color or highlights with editable digital ink. The notes can then be exported as JPG, PNG, PDF or WILL file formats. The Inkspace application comes in 2 different subscription models as follows:

Intuos Pro/Pro Paper Edition

Wacom presents its new Intuos Pro and Intuos Pro Paper Edition of pen and touch tablets. In addition to its new slim and sleek design, the new generation Intuos Pro provides a wealth of new features and benefits to artists, designers and photographers who demand the best from their creative tool. Drawing on the Intuos Pro is seamless and and natural with the included Wacom Pro Pen 2, which sports 4 times the pressure sensitivity than the former Pro Pen at 8,192 levels of pressure.

The Intuos Pro Paper Edition stands out by giving users the ability to incorporate paper into their creative workflow immediately without the long arduous process of scanning. Ink-on-paper drawings that are drawn using the Intuos Pro Paper Edition are captured and stored digitally for refinement later. The Intuos Pro Paper Edition boasts the same function as the Intuos Pro, but features an additional Paper Clip (as shown on the picture above), a pressure-sensitive Finetip gel ink pen as well as the Wacom Inkspace app for Ink-to-Digital conversion.

MobileStudio Pro

Wacom MobileStudio Pro is a lightweight mobile pen computer that gives you the freedom to create anywhere you go. Built to handle serious workload, it is powered by a full-featured Windows 10 computer capable of running professional creative 2D, 3D and CAD applications. It also boasts specs of up to 16GB of RAM, Intel Core i7 processor, NVIDIA Quadro graphics and 512GB of storage depending on the model.

Boasting up to 4K resolution and color accuracy of up to 96% of Adobe RGB, you are able to view every pica, pixel or polygon in perfect detail. While its etched glass surface provides a texture that is similar to the feel and control of pen and paper.

Selected models of Wacom MobileStudio Pro also include built-in 3D RealSense camera and scanning software to easily capture real life objects in 3D on the go as reference for product designers, CAD engineers and 3D sculptors.

Wacom Cintiq Pro is a newly designed creative pen display that aims to bridge the gap between inspiration and expression, empowering professional and serious creators of digital content to take their artistry to the next level.

Much like the MobileStudio Pro, Cintiq Pro's screen offers a rich resolution of up to 4K and color accuracy of 94% of Adobe RGB alongside with an etched-glass surface to provide a natural pen-on-paper feel. Similar to the other 2 Creative products, Cintiq Pro also comes with the latest Wacom Pro Pen 2 that offers top notch precision. All together creating a seamless platform for professionals to transport what is on their creative minds onto a digital canvas.

In addition, Cintiq Pro's new modern, sleek and thin design makes it more portable as compared to its predecessors. Building upon its predecessor, the Cintiq 13HD Touch, it comes with a ExpressKey Remote to customize their most commonly used shortcuts and modifiers in the form of a remote control which can be flexibly moved around the workstation to better suit the user.
