This portable monitor features a dual OLED panel with a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, Delta E<2 color accuracy, HDR support, a 100,000:1 contrast ratio, and DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification. Each side of the display has a 1920 x 1200 resolution, and when fully expanded, it offers a viewing area equivalent to a 20-inch screen. The 360° hinge allows for versatile positioning, including Tent mode, which is typically found on detachable laptops. Users can also take advantage of Extend, Split, Independent, and Mirror modes for enhanced productivity.
Weighing just 1.07 kg and foldable down to a 14-inch form, the MQ149CD is powered by a single USB-C connection that also handles data transfer. Connectivity options include mini HDMI and two USB-C ports for additional peripherals.
The ASUS DisplayWidget Center software simplifies setup and customization, offering controls for brightness, contrast, and color temperature, while the auto-rotate function seamlessly adjusts between landscape and portrait orientations. Additionally, the built-in quarter-inch screw thread socket enables mounting on a camera tripod for adjustable height and comfortable viewing. ASUS has also emphasized sustainability, with the MQ149CD earning ENERGY STAR certification and featuring FSC Mix-certified, eco-friendly packaging to enhance shipping efficiency.
Price and Availability
The ZenScreen Duo OLED MQ149CD is scheduled for a mid-March release at the price of SG$799.
