Taipei City is returning to Tech Week Singapore with a 12-company pavilion focused on the infrastructure and applications needed to move artificial intelligence beyond pilot projects.
The “Smart Tech, Innovative Taipei” pavilion will run on 29 and 30 September 2026 at Sands Expo and Convention Centre. It is organised by the Taipei City Government’s Department of Economic Development in collaboration with the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA).
Twelve companies will cover infrastructure and applications
The announced exhibitors are BigObject, Optiqb AI Technology, IPEVO, Qulip Technology, NETIO Technologies, Shuttle, SYSTEX, Galaxy Software Services Corporation, Eslitec, Harbor Technology Solutions, AR2VR and Ubitus.
According to the organisers, their exhibits will span AI-ready data, cybersecurity, edge computing, industrial systems, multilingual communication, immersive training, AI avatars, digital engagement and smart-city applications. Detailed product and demonstration lists were not included in the announcement, so the pavilion should be treated as a broad preview rather than confirmation that every company will launch new hardware or software at the show.
Enterprise AI is the connecting theme
The delegation reflects several layers of the enterprise AI stack. Data platforms and systems integration address how organisations prepare and connect information; edge and industrial computing bring processing closer to devices and operational environments; and security products are intended to protect the resulting services and infrastructure.
Other exhibitors will concentrate on user-facing applications, including multilingual collaboration, immersive training and cloud-delivered interactive experiences. The combination gives the pavilion a wider remit than generative AI alone, extending into deployment, governance and the practical integration work required to operate systems across an organisation.
TAITRA is positioning Singapore as a route into Southeast Asian enterprise and public-sector markets, while presenting Taipei’s hardware, semiconductor and systems-integration ecosystem as a potential technology partner. Those are the organisers’ expectations for the event; no new commercial partnerships or customer deployments were confirmed in the supplied announcement.
What remains to be shown at Tech Week Singapore
Tech Week Singapore 2026 is themed “The Infrastructure Era”, placing greater emphasis on the computing, data, networking and governance foundations behind large-scale AI deployments. The Taipei Pavilion fits that focus, but the value of each exhibit will depend on the technical detail shown at the event, compatibility with existing enterprise environments and evidence from real deployments.
TTR has not attended or tested the pavilion’s demonstrations. Product capabilities, deployment claims and partnership expectations in this preview are attributed to Taipei City and TAITRA and have not been independently evaluated.
