With the launch of Windows 8 worldwide, new tablets and devices are also streaming into the market. It's like the netbook game all over. Every new machine will have similar hardware specifications. Each manufacturer tries to climb out from the pithole by research and development and create addition value to their devices. Values can be in form of a different design, or simply additional features which differentiates itself from others. Although sometimes these features doesn't really make sense, it really shows how desperate each manufacturer tries to be different from one another.
Interestingly, there are quite a variety of Windows 8 devices. We'll take a look at the top 5 Windows 8 device that I think is worth a second look.

The Dell XPS Duo 12 tries to be funny here with a rotatable touch screen panel against the frame of the screen. Probably most of the time, the machine won't be left in the state as shown above, but it serves its purpose of a quick conversion between a laptop and tablet.

As the name suggest, Lenovo Yoga is really one flexible device. Lenovo and IBM laptops always have the ability to be more flexible than competition's products. The screens can always be pushed back to reach 180degrees flat with the keyboard of the laptop. Lenovo decided to go even beyond that, and realised a new design with the Yoga. It can be automatically converted into a tablet with this flexibility. However, accidental keyboard key touches could be annoying if the keyboard is not disabled when in tablet mode.
5) Microsoft Surface
The Microsoft Surface is undoubtedly one of the best Windows 8 tablets on the market. Or probably, it is the best. There are 2 main features which makes it so great. Firstly, the smart cover acting as a keyboard is perfect. Your machine can be productive and at the same time a stylish look. Next, the kickstand of the tablet allows itself to be left in a great angle, perfect for viewing and working on. These two features comes hand in hand with one another. The front and back cameras are also fitted and positioned accurately for the best footages for video calls and vide recording respectively.
A probable problem that owners of surface may face is that the kickstand only allows the surface to be placed in a certain predefined angle. That means that you can't change the angle of the screen to better suit your eye level. However, the IPS panel may compensate for that.

In my opinion, it may not make the best sense to have 2 screen panels on both sides. Both screens share a 180degree rotation ability, and normally, when viewing your laptop, you will place the screen at around 105degrees from the keyboard. This means that the other side of the screen will be rotated at 75 degrees, which may not be the best angle to view a screen. However, the idea of screen sharing with the one opposite you on the same machine is really a new concept and I could probably accept this machine, if I could get my hands on one.
