According to rumors, Google and ASUS are collaborating to come up with another Android Tablet device. This new Nexus tablet was previously rumored to cost 99USD. The ASUS ME172V's images has been leaked, and they will come in both black and white.

From the images, the ME172V looks like a Nexus 7. It will be probably be powered by a 600MHz to 1GHz VIA WM8950 single core processor, 1GB RAM and a Mali-400 GPU. Don't expect high screen resolutions from a entry level affordable device. ME172 comes in 1024 x 600 resolution on a 7inch display. Despite disappointments in display specifications, the ME172 tablet just like most entry level devices out on the market, comes with a microSD expandable storage slot. It will run on 4.1.1.
Reports claims that ASUS ME172V will launch in CES2013 next month. Even if the device is not as cheap as it reports claims, it will definitely be cheaper than a Nexus 7.
