According to Technology site Apple Insider reports, Apple's supply chain vendors claims that the company plans to release a low-cost version of iPhone in June this year and will be sold from July onwards.
Topeka Capital analyst Brian White attended an industry trade show in China this week and said that Apple's suppliers are now producing a new, lower price iPhone. The product is expected to be released together with the iPhone 5S.
He claims that the cheap iPhone screen size will be the same as the iPhone 5 and that the appearance will be slightly different compared due to its modified back body which uses a coloured plastic material. It will have a better camera and even fingerprint recognition technology. The budget iPhone will sell for around 400USD. White also believes that the fingerprint recognition technology will be featured on the iPhone 5S.
