As HTC One codename was previous M7, HTC would naturally name their next flagship phone M8. The new smartphone is said to have an improvement in speeds with a newer and faster Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. M8 will also have a larger display.
In addition, HTC Design and Innovation Lab Senior Manager Justin Huang also said in an interview that HTC's next generation flagship smartphone will be based on the current designs on HTC One. This means that M8 will also have a metallic back body.
