According to PhoneArena, Motorola's insider Taylor Wimberly, who has accurately predicted previous Moto X's news, claims that Motorola will release a new generation of Nexus smartphone at the end of this year.
Wimberly stated that after releasing their critically acclaimed Moto X smartphone, Motorola has convinced Google to let them take charge of all other future Nexus handset productions. Considering that Moto X has attracted attention of many smartphone users, the whole Nexus production for Motorola will definitely give them a lot of opportunities, allowing them to gain traction in the market.
Wimberly also said that Motorola Nexus 5 will be launched in the fourth quarter this year. This new device will be redesigned by Motorola and that it will not be based on the current Moto X's design.
