Reports from SamMobile state that Samsung is expecting to release their flexible display smartphone later this week. Samsung Galaxy Round will have a 5.7 inch display and its hardware specifications will be similar to Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Although LG was the first to publish a press release for their flexible displays, it seems that Samsung is still the first to push a smartphone equipped with flexible display to the market.
We have learnt that Samsung Galaxy Round will be placed in the high-end market segment. It will have a 1920 x 1080 resolution on its 5.7inch display. The display is said to be able to fit to the shape of the face better, making it more ergonomic with making calls. Galaxy Round will also come with a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with Android 4.3 System. Because of its cost factor, the smartphone will not be equipped with S Pen.
