According to media which quoted Samsung officials, the smart glasses is a new concept which will lead the future communication culture. Wearable devices form a new market, which might not be immediately profitable.
Currently in Korea, Samsung has attained patent to the Galaxy Glass design, as reflected in the patent designs. The Galaxy Glass is similar to sports visors, with camera lens attached to the top left of the glasses and headphones and smartphone connected in the wires. In addition, the Galaxy Glass can be connected to a smartphone for messages to be displayed on the Glass.
According to media forecast, the Galaxy Glass will have similar functions as the Galaxy Gear. allowing users to receive notifications, answer calls, take photographs and listen to music. The Galaxy Glass is expected to debut in IFA consumer electronics trade-show in Berlin this year.
