Costing less than 3000NT (130SGD), the brand new ASUS ZenFone C has just been launched and is currently sold in the Taiwan market.
ASUS ZenFone C is a 4.5 inch 854 x 480 resolution smartphone. Thanks to its partnership with Intel, they are able to churn out decently good performing smartphones at a low cost. The ZenFone C utilizes an Intel Atom Z2520 1.2GHz Dual core processor, similar to the ones found in the usual ZenFones that were launched last year. This phone has 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. It also has a 5MP rear and 0.3MP front camera. ZenFone C runs on Android 4.4 with ASUS's own ZenUI.
It would be great if this smartphone was to land on our island. I'm quite sure that if the price was right, it will sell like hot cakes, making it a great competitor to the current Xiaomi Redmi smartphones.
