BLACKBERRY PARTNERS WITH M1 SINGAPORE TO OFFER BES12 CLOUD TO BUSINESS CUSTOMERS ON ONE MOBILE BILL

· M1 is the first carrier in Southeast Asia to offer BES12 Cloud for new and re-contracting M1 business mobile customers – at no extra cost

June 6 – Singapore, SG - BlackBerry Limited (NASDAQ: BBRY; TSX: BB), a global leader in mobile communications, and M1 Limited (M1), Singapore’s most vibrant and dynamic communications company, today announced that new and re-contracting M1 mobile business customers can have BES12 Cloud, a cross-platform EMM solution by BlackBerry, bundled for free[1] with their new or renewed monthly plans.

M1 is the first carrier in Southeast Asia to launch BlackBerry’s Enhanced SIM-BasedLicensing (ESBL), simplifying the way corporates deploy and use enterprise mobility management (EMM) solutions. BES12 is built on BlackBerry’s trusted network and offers multi-OS support managed through a single console for any mobile deployment policy, such as personal devices used by staff, or issued by companies. It enables organizations to remotely provision employees with corporate applications, assign appropriate usage rights, and secure their devices against unauthorised use.

BlackBerry’s cloud-based BES12 EMM solution supports all major mobile operating systems - iOS, Android™, Windows Phone® and BlackBerry® - and allows for quick and cost-effective deployment, without the need for on-premise servers, equipment or professional installation.

M1 is also offering customers upgrades that include advanced EMM features, but still on a monthly subscription model. Based on their mobility strategy and what they need, this will provide customers with access to the full suite of BES12 features, including secure mobile connectivity, secure applications and separating work and personal content. Therefore, customers do not need to commit to an annual license, but instead enjoy the flexibility of paying for only what they use. Charges are reflected in the customers’ monthly mobile business plans.
