The Google Cloud Next '24 conference hosted in Las Vegas not long ago also has OPPO invited to showcase their commitment to creating a fresh AI Phone experience.
For starters, its own line of OPPO phones as well as OnePlus models will be implementing Google Gemini models for the most basic generative AI assistance. Existing features such as AI Eraser are also part of the gen-AI tech through subject elimination and smart background filling with more than 120 recognized objects and architectures.
Furthermore, they also placed a total of 4 "standards" that AI Phones should meet - Efficient Computing, Perception of the Real World, Self Learning, and Creativity. Until the hardware and software are fully developed, integrated, and trained for all of these criteria, then would AI Phones truly transform and enhance human life.
The keynote was delivered after the brand's numerous initiatives in following the AI computing train including the establishment of its AI Center earlier this year as well as various software technology like Trinity Engine for the OnePlus brand.
